Make a Custom Map in 3 simple, easy steps

Click on any country on the map to change its color.
Add the title you want for the chart's legend and choose a label/description for each color.
Select Preview Map and go ahead and download the generated map chart.

More options include removing/coloring the borders, changing the background color or removing the legend. You can also save your work and continue later from where you left off.

Hide any country/state you don't need on the map and take advantage of the Zoom feature to focus on a specific area.
Use patterns (dots, stripes, crosshatch, etc.) to paint and depict countries/states that belong in two groups.

The Cold War World Map is now live! Use the slider to change the year and make a map of the Cold War era, from 1946 to 1989 (and beyond).
The first maps are World in 1815 (Napoleonic Wars), 1880 and World/Europe in 1914 (start of World War I) and 1938 (start of World War II).
Please know that producing accurate historical maps is pretty difficult, taking into account the limited resources available and of course, the fluid borders of countries, kingdoms, duchies, emirates, etc. for a specific era. This is a first attempt to make such a resource available for free so I need the help of the community to improve and make it as accurate as possible.
Nevertheless, if you found a mistake on the map, I would be happy to check it out and fix it accordingly. Just make sure that you include a link to the image or the source that can back up your claim, so I can easily consider it and make the change.
More customization options as you can now right-click on a country or subdivision to Hide it from the map you are creating.
You can now re-arrange the rows of the map's legend. Simply drag and drop () to move a row up/down before creating the map.
On the World maps there is a new zoom feature that enables you to zoom, drag and adjust the map however you want. NOTICE: it is in BETA mode for the time being.
The resolution of all maps is now five times larger! Use your map charts for free with pixel-perfect quality.
